Our Beliefs
Jesus is Lord
“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.” John 1:1-14
Immanuel – “God with Us”. He came from a virgin, lived a sinless life, healed the sick, raised the dead, and set the captives free. He died on the cross for our sins; rose again, is seated at the right hand of God, and will come again to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will have no end.
“Salvation is found in no one else for there is no other name under heaven given to men by whom we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
Matthew 1:23 Matthew 11:5 Romans 8:34 II Timothy 4:1 Luke 1:33 John 1:1-14 Acts 4:12
The Bible is God’s Holy Word
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; hat the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished into all good works.” II Timothy 3:16
“…the words that I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life.” John 6:63
The Power of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit empowers believers to become effective witnesses of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The fruit of the Spirit becomes more and more evident in the believers life as we yield to His leadership. It is God’s will that we live an abundant life, with overcoming faith, being transformed onto His likeness with ever increasing Glory.
John 7:38-39 Acts 1:8 Acts 2 Joel 2:28 II Corinthians 3:18
The Church
The church is the body of Christ in which Jesus is the head. Just as Jesus loved and worked among us in a physical body before His crucifixion and resurrection. He loves and works by His Spirit in a body today. We are a part of that worldwide body in unity with all who have been born again by the blood of Jesus Christ. This unity of the body runs across all racial, cultural, denominational, and territorial lines. We are one in Christ.
